The Gwangju-Jeonnam Venture Business Association and Gwangju
Technopark announced that they hosted the “Korea-Vietnam Science,
Education,
and SME Exchange Council” at the Ramada Plaza Gwangju Hotel. The
event was attended by over 30 representatives, including those
from Vietnam
National University of Agriculture (VNUA), the Institute of Southeast Asian
Science Education (ISASE), and Ocean Visa Education Center.
This council aimed
to address workforce shortages faced by local SMEs and foster global talent
through partnerships with local universities. The focus
was on practical
cooperation in technology and education, with plans for future joint ventures.
Five key participating organizations signed an MOU to collaborate
on academic,
technological, and business exchanges, talent development and job placement,
promotion of Korean entrepreneurship, joint startups, and local talent
matching.
