DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OF BIOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS FOR OBTAINING ORGANIC PRODUCTS IN AGRICULTURE

The Yakut horse, adapted to the extreme climatic conditions of the Far North, is characterized by exceptional adaptability and endurance, which allows it to be bred almost throughout the republic - from temperate latitudes to the Arctic Circle. 70% of the total herd of horses of the Russian Federation are in Yakutia.

A further increase in the number and productivity of herd horse breeding is constrained by a number of factors, among which infectious diseases play a significant role. Of these, salmonellosis, rhinopneumonia and horse washing are the most common and causing significant economic damage. These diseases are widespread in the countries of the Asian continent, Russia and the CIS countries. Until recently, specific vaccine preventive measures have not been developed against these diseases. For the first time in Russia, Yakut scientists have developed highly effective inactivated vaccines against rhinopneumonia, wash and salmonella abortion of horses, which are approved by the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The horse salmonella abortion vaccine protects 90-95% of vaccinated horses, increases business yield by 15-20%, and also protects people from infection. The drug has no analogues in Russia.

The «Tabyn» vaccine provides normal growth and development of young animals and protects 90-95% of the disease.

Associated vaccines are being developed against these infectious diseases of horses. Clinical trials are underway in the horse farms of the Republic.

The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has rich natural resources, but few people know that the nature of Yakutia and especially its frozen soils are rich in unique microbial raw materials that are so in demand by modern mankind.

Currently, all over the world, including Russia, there is an active search for bacteria - producers of biologically active substances and the development on their basis of safe and effective probiotic drugs as an alternative to antibiotics.

A unique Russian drug, a probiotic called Sakhabactisubtil, approved by the Rosselkhoznadzor, was developed at the Yakutsk Research Institute of Agriculture based on the bacterial strains Bacillus subtilis TNP-3 and TNP-5 isolated from permafrost soils. The drug has pronounced bactericidal, antiviral and fungicidal properties.

Due to the extreme conditions of the Far North, in horses of herd keeping in the winter, starting in January, the phenomenon of intestinal dysbiosis is recorded, emaciation, abortion, and death are noted. The introduction of the probiotic Sakhabactisubtil into horses ’diet corrects intestinal microbiocenosis, increases immunobiological reactivity and average daily weight gain.

Unlike antibiotics, when the drug Sakhabactisubtil enters the gastrointestinal tract, it literally scans the intestinal microbiota and inhibits only the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, including toxigenic fungi, without affecting the beneficial microflora.

The drug Sakhabactisubtil is not only not inferior, but also superior in effectiveness and breadth of action to many foreign and Russian probiotics, successfully used in agriculture and promising for use in medicine. Probiotic protects 90-95% of young animals from diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

The scientific novelty of the development of vaccines and probiotics is protected by 42 patents of the Russian Federation. For the commercialization of development, a small innovative enterprise LLC Scientific-Production Center Hotu-Bact was created. Production of drugs is licensed by the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
