The National Information Technology Park (NITP) is state owned enterprise committed to developing information technology and innovation in Mongolia as a unit of government body. In 1972, the Science and Technology Information Center responsible for providing with relevant information to the public, was established and after 30 years of operation it was re-established in 2002 as National Information Technology Park by the joint order of the Minister of Education, Culture and Science and the Minister of Infrastructure. This year it is the 50th anniversary of the Science and Technology Information Center and the 20th anniversary of the National Information Technology Park. NITP has undergone major policy reforms to keep pace with the technological development of the world's developed countries.

Within framework of this policy we have created an intellectual silk road connecting 21 aimags and 9 districts to introduce entrepreneurship to every Mongolian, support innovations, create new ideas and best solutions and develop ecosystems for startups. With the purpose to become a leader in the development of information technology, NITP is being doing activities such as implementeng programs to accelerate innovated start-ups, operating information technology incubators, contributing to improve IT knowledge and skills of whole nation by introducing globally standardized training and international examination system. We are very looking forward to cooperate with all our partners at next level in coming years.
